Autonomists Win Val d’Aosta
Rome: Local autonomists won the regional elections in Val d’Aosta Monday. The French-speaking Union Valdotaine secured 31.9% of the vote, establishing a lead in the election.
According to Ansa News Agency, the Centrist Autonomists followed with 14% of the vote. The centre-left Democratic Party, obtaining 8%, is anticipated to join the ruling coalition. The centre-right bloc, which was defeated, garnered 29.5% of the vote.
