G7: ‘Those Who Favored Moscow Out of Kyiv Reconstruction’
Toronto: Countries that favored Moscow will have no part in the reconstruction of Ukraine, Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti declared at the Group of Seven finance ministers meeting in Canada. Giorgetti emphasized that this decision marked a significant achievement for Italy.
According to Ansa News Agency, Giorgetti stated that this decision was a step toward finalizing a statement by the G7, highlighting Italy’s success in advocating for a unified stance. The collective position supports Ukraine and ensures that nations or entities that have engaged in business or shown favor towards Russia will be excluded from participating in the rebuilding efforts in Ukraine. Giorgetti shared these remarks on X, underscoring the importance of solidarity with Ukraine as a core principle in the reconstruction process.
