Fresh Blackout Hits Florence, Multiple Areas Impacted

Florence: A new blackout has struck several areas of Florence this afternoon, following similar disruptions reported yesterday, attributed to the intense heat.

According to Ansa News Agency, E-Distribuzione, the power supplier under the Enel Group responsible for the Tuscan capital, indicated that the outage resulted from dual damage along a section of the “Minzoni” electrical backbone. This critical infrastructure supplies electricity to parts of the city, including via Giacomini, piazza Savonarola, and nearby areas, leaving numerous users without power.
