Former Inter Boss Stramaccioni Saves Teens from Drowning

Puglia: Former Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni is being hailed a hero after wading into the sea to save two teenagers from drowning while on holiday in Puglia. The 49-year-old, a TV commentator for State broadcaster Rai, noticed the 17-year-old girl and 19-year-old woman were in difficulty at a bay near Vieste and intervened with a lifeguard.

According to Ansa News Agency, Stramaccioni’s quick response and bravery were instrumental in ensuring the safety of the young women. After the rescue, the coast guard acknowledged his heroic act by presenting him with the red T-shirt of a lifeguard as a reward.
