Flooding in Bardonecchia, Maximum Alert

Bardonecchia: The Rio Frejus flooded Monday in the center of Bardonecchia near Turin, where it is impossible to pass, almost two years after the flood of August 2023, and the Municipality launched the maximum alert possible.

According to Ansa News Agency, “Do not approach the bridges and avoid traveling especially on via Einaudi and the Passeggiata Donatori di Sangue,” appealed the mayor, Chiara Rossetti. She invited people to “follow the indications of the local authorities” and ordered them “not to leave your home and not to use the car,” the Municipality says.

Flooding has been recorded on the A32 Turin Bardonecchia motorway, and the exit for the tourist resort has been closed in both directions.
