Some Naples Trains Suspended After Campi Flegrei Quake
Naples: Some local train services in the Naples area were suspended on Monday following a magnitude 4.6 earthquake at the Campi Flegrei volcanic caldera. The suspension was a result of implementing a protocol that is activated when seismic activity exceeds a magnitude of 4.0. As a precautionary measure, Naples Metro Line 2 between Bagnoli and Pozzuoli was also halted.
According to Ansa News Agency, the disruption affected local services but did not impact trains traveling from Naples to Rome or other parts of southern Italy. The authorities are monitoring the situation closely to ensure the safety of passengers and staff.
