Construction Contractor Dies While Working Under Scorching Heat in San Lazzaro

San lazzaro: A 47-year-old man, Ait El Hajjam Brahim, of Moroccan origin, died after experiencing a medical emergency caused by extreme heat while working on the construction site of the Jussi school near Bologna. Brahim, who owned a contracting company, Veneto Pavimenti sas, based in the Treviso area, was actively involved in the execution of the project.

According to Ansa News Agency, Brahim suddenly collapsed to the ground during a concrete pour in the parking lot, which was directly exposed to the sun. The incident was reported by the Cgil trade union. Emergency 118 crews responded swiftly, but despite their efforts, paramedics were unable to revive Brahim.

The construction site where the incident occurred is part of the Campus Kid school complex, a project designed by renowned architect Mario Cucinella. The tragic event highlights the risks construction workers face, particularly when working under extreme weather conditions.
