Budget to Up Health Spending, Cut 35% Tax Rate to 33%

Rome: The 2026 draft budget will cut the 35% tax rate to 33% and will allot 2.4 billion euros more to the health sector in 2026, the economy ministry said after a cabinet meeting on the package Tuesday.

According to Ansa News Agency, the budget will also include 3.5 billion euros for low-income households and fighting poverty, as announced by the ministry.
