BTP Italia Treasury Bond Collects 5.28 Billion Euros in Two Days
Rome: The new BTP Italia Treasury bond has collected 5.28 billion euros in just two days, officials announced on Wednesday. The government bond, which is indexed to inflation, has a maturity date set for June 2032.
According to Ansa News Agency, on the second day of the offering, the bond accumulated 2.14 billion euros through 63,946 subscribed contracts. This followed an initial collection of 3.14 billion euros on the first day. The offer to retail savers is set to continue until Thursday, while institutional investors have until the 30th to participate.
