ITA Will Remain Independent From Lufthansa Says Eberhart

Rome: ITA Airways will remain independent from Lufthansa, the German airline that controls it, ITA Managing Director Joerg Eberhart said Wednesday.

According to Ansa News Agency, Eberhart emphasized the distinct corporate culture of ITA compared to Lufthansa, highlighting ITA’s strengths such as flexibility, versatility, and creativity. He noted that while Lufthansa has a different mentality, ITA’s unique attributes should be preserved.

Eberhart made these remarks at the Fit-Cisl trade union congress currently taking place in Santa Margherita di Pula, drawing a parallel with how Lufthansa has previously managed Swiss, allowing it to maintain its individuality.
