150 Palestinians in Italy Says Chigi, on Gaza Front Line

Rome: Two operations are currently underway to bring Palestinian refugees from Gaza to Italy “confirming the Italian government’s constant commitment to providing humanitarian assistance and protecting human lives in dramatic crisis situations, such as Gaza,” a statement from Palazzo Chigi said Tuesday.

According to Ansa News Agency, the “complex and multifaceted evacuation mission” involves approximately 150 Palestinians. The operations are a testament to Italy’s dedication to addressing humanitarian needs and are part of a broader mission to provide aid and support to those affected by ongoing conflicts.

The statement further emphasized that “Italy remains on the front line for stability and peace, and will continue to work with determination to alleviate the suffering of populations affected by conflict and ensure full respect for human rights and the release of hostages in Gaza.” This initiative underscores Italy’s role in international efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region.
