12 Ansaldo Energia Workers in Infirmary with Heat Stroke

Genoa: Twelve workers at the Ansaldo Energia plant in Genoa were taken to the infirmary after suffering heat stroke in Italy’s fierce heatwave Thursday.

According to Ansa News Agency, an internal union stated that management had failed to take action and install air conditioning and fans despite a similar incident occurring a year ago. The lack of preventive measures has raised concerns about worker safety and the need for immediate interventions to prevent future occurrences.
