Heat Emergency Prompts Medical Station Setup on Milan Duomo Terraces

Milan: In consideration of the high temperatures of these days and those that may occur throughout the summer, on the terraces of the Milan Cathedral, which can be visited by tourists, from Monday to September 15, a medical station with specialized personnel will be set up from 12 to 17, that is, during the hottest hours, officials in the Lombardy capital said Thursday.

According to Ansa News Agency, in case of particularly intense heat, water distribution points will also be activated next to the sentry boxes, where the staff stations are located. Furthermore, during the central hours of the day, from 12:30 to 16, the capacity of the Terraces has been reduced to facilitate ascent and descent.
