Zelensky, Trump Had ‘Productive’ Meeting in Rome

Rome: US President Donald Trump had a “very productive” meeting with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky in St Peter’s Basilica before Pope Francis’ funeral on Saturday, the White House said.

According to Ansa News Agency, the Ukrainian president’s office described the meeting as “constructive,” noting that the two leaders agreed to meet later on Saturday after the funeral.

The office also mentioned that Zelensky participated in a four-way meeting with Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
