You’re Close to Recognition, Do It, PNA FM Tells Italy

Rome: Palestinian National Authority (PNA) Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian told Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani at a Med Dialogues panel in Naples Thursday that Italy was close to recognising Palestinian statehood and should go ahead and do so.

According to Ansa News Agency, for the PNA, “recognition of the State of Palestine is important” and “this is the right time, you are close, do it!” she said.
