Young Man Dies After Being Tasered by Police in Pescara

Pescara: A young man died in Pescara from cardiac arrest after collapsing when police tasered him in the police HQ of the Adriatic city Tuesday. Rescued by 118, the boy – reportedly in his 30s – was taken to the hospital, where he died, despite attempts to revive him.

According to Ansa News Agency, at the moment, police sources said, there is no proven correlation between the use of the taser and the cardiac arrest. Only the autopsy will be able to clarify what happened and the causes of death, they said.

The Pescara Public Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the case.
