Woman Killed at Fregene with 15 Stab Wounds

Fregene: Stefania Camboni, an Italian woman, was found dead in her home at the upscale Roman beach resort of Fregene on Thursday morning. She was killed with 15 stab wounds, including injuries to the abdomen and a deep stab to the throat, as reported by the police.

According to Ansa News Agency, the Civitavecchia Prosecutor’s Office, led by Alberto Liguori, is investigating the case as a homicide. Investigations suggest that Camboni likely knew her attacker, as there were no signs of forced entry into her home, nor were there any missing objects or money.

The woman’s son, who discovered her body, and his partner have been questioned by authorities. The prosecutor’s office is also examining whether the family had any financial problems or disputes that might be connected to the incident.
