Woman Arrested for Fatal Stabbing of Husband in Naples

Naples: A 58-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with homicide after allegedly stabbing her husband to death in their home located in the Vicaria-Mercato district, sources reported.

According to Ansa News Agency, the woman contacted emergency services claiming she acted in self-defence after her 59-year-old husband allegedly attacked her with a knife. Following the incident, she was taken to Vecchio Pellegrini Hospital in the city to receive treatment for her stab wounds.

Authorities found the man deceased in his bed when they arrived. It was also reported that the couple’s daughter and granddaughter were present in the house at the time of the incident.
