Woman, 22, Suffers Fatal Heart Attack in Gym Without Air Conditioning

Turin: A 22-year-old woman experienced a fatal heart attack on Thursday while working out in a gym near Turin. The gym lacked air conditioning, according to local sources.

According to Ansa News Agency, the woman, identified as Martina Gillio, was training in the weights room of the facility in Poirino when she suffered cardiac arrest. A person working inside the gym confirmed the absence of an air conditioning system and spoke to reporters over the phone about the conditions.

The gym is equipped with numerous windows on the first floor, which are often opened to facilitate air exchange, particularly during hot days. Despite these measures, the environment may have still been challenging for strenuous physical activity.

Martina Gillio, a resident of Chieri in the province of Turin, felt unwell during her training session, which ultimately led to her tragic passing.
