We’ll Get Better Game by Game: Modric After First Milan Goal
Milan: Luka Modric expressed confidence that AC Milan will continue to improve following his first goal for the club, which secured a 1-0 victory over Bologna at San Siro on Sunday.
According to Ansa News Agency, the 40-year-old Croatia captain, who joined Milan in the closed season after a successful 13-year tenure at Real Madrid, emphasized the team’s potential for growth. “Game by game we will gain more confidence and I’m sure we will get even better,” Modric stated.
AC Milan currently sits fifth in Serie A, having secured six points from two matches. They trail behind champions Napoli, who defeated Fiorentina 3-1 away on Saturday, and Juventus, who emerged victorious in a thrilling ‘derby of Italy’ against Inter, winning 4-3 with a stoppage-time goal by 19-year-old Montenegro midfielder Vasilije Adzic.
