Use Determination on Iran Also for Kyiv and Gaza – Meloni

Brussels: The determination shown on the Iran crisis should now be shown also on Ukraine and Gaza, Premier Giorgia Meloni told the press after a NATO summit Wednesday.

According to Ansa News Agency, Meloni emphasized the need for consistent international resolve in addressing the ongoing conflicts around the world. “I told President Donald Trump and said at the summit that the same determination used on the war between Israel and Iran must also be used for two other ceasefires, for Ukraine and for Gaza,” she told reporters.

“The situation in Gaza is unsustainable,” Meloni remarked, underscoring the urgent need for diplomatic efforts to secure lasting peace in the region. Her comments reflect a call for a unified global approach to conflict resolution, aiming to prevent further escalation and humanitarian crises in both Ukraine and Gaza.
