US-EU Summit on Ukraine Peace Plan Within Reach, Says Meloni

London: If cool heads prevail over Ukraine, a US-EU summit on ending the war with a just and lasting peace plan is within reach, Premier Giorgia Meloni said in London Sunday. “We proposed that there be a meeting to talk frankly about what we want to do, how we want to face the challenges that arise, not just the issue of peace in Ukraine,” Meloni said at a press briefing at the residence of the Italian ambassador in London after a summit on Ukraine in the British capital.

According to Ansa News Agency, Meloni emphasized the importance of strategic thinking and not getting carried away by emotions in order to achieve this goal. She highlighted the necessity of sharing objectives and scenarios in a constantly changing world, asserting that the meeting between the US and the EU is absolutely within reach and is what Italy is actively working towards.
