Rome: Business and Made in Italy Minister Adolfo Urso has expressed anticipation for significant developments from Stellantis regarding Italy’s pivotal role in the company’s industrial strategy. During a question time session on Wednesday, Urso emphasized his expectation for concrete news and assurances at the upcoming meeting with Stellantis executives on December 17. This meeting is set against a backdrop of concerns over potential job cuts and discussions about increasing budget funds for Italy’s automotive industry from 250 to 500 million euros, contingent upon Stellantis’ commitment to maintaining its operations in the country.
