Two-Year-Old Boy Escapes Control and Drowns in Pool

Rome: A two-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool at his family’s vacation home in Caucana, a seaside hamlet of Santa Croce Camerina, in the Ragusa area.

According to Ansa News Agency, the boy, originally from Comiso, apparently managed to climb the ladder leading to the pool, escaping the attention of adults. The tragic incident has left the family in shock as they come to terms with the loss.

The boy’s father and grandparents run an olive oil mill, a family business in the region. The community has expressed condolences and support for the grieving family during this difficult time.
