Trans Police Officer Attacked in Trento Nightclub

Trento: A 53-year-old police officer undergoing a male-to-female transition was reportedly assaulted at a nightclub in Trento. The incident involved the officer being kicked and punched by three individuals, as reported by local news outlets on Saturday.

According to Ansa News Agency, the trans officer, who was off duty and dressed in civilian clothing, encountered the alleged attack around 3 a.m. on February 15. The confrontation began when the officer was insulted by three young ultra fans, prompting her to respond by slapping them. This led to a violent attack on her.

The officer managed to escape and drive herself to Santa Chiara Hospital’s emergency room, where she received medical attention and was given a 30-day prognosis. The three alleged attackers are reportedly ultra fans of the local soccer team.

Reports indicate that the police officer has been serving in a different city for several decades.
