Musk Right, Only AfD Can Save Germany Says Salvini
Rome: Deputy Premier and Transport Minister Matteo Salvini, the leader of the League party, stated on Saturday that Elon Musk was correct in asserting that only the far-right political party Alternative for Germany (AfD) could save Germany. Salvini made this declaration via social media on the eve of Germany’s national elections, which are scheduled for Sunday. His comments followed the arrest of a 19-year-old Syrian man for allegedly stabbing a Spanish tourist at Berlin’s Holocaust Memorial on Friday.
According to Ansa News Agency, Salvini expressed his views by highlighting that “blood and terror in Berlin” were once again perpetrated by an immigrant. He criticized Europe’s approach to immigration, citing “years of hosting without limits and fake tolerance.” Salvini echoed sentiments previously expressed by figures like Donald Trump and JD Vance regarding the dangers of mass immigration.
Salvini further commented on the upcoming elections, noting the opportunity for change in Germany. He supported Elon Musk’s stance, which has repeatedly endorsed the AfD as a solution for Germany’s issues. Musk serves as the Administrator of the Department of Government Efficiency in US President Donald Trump’s second administration.
