Tariffs: Europe Stocks Burn Over 683 Billion Euros
Brussels: European stock markets burned over 683 billion euros at the end of the third session following the announcement of US President Donald Trump’s tariffs.
According to Ansa News Agency, added to that of the previous two days, the overall balance is equal to a loss of 1,924 billion euros. On Monday, the pan-European Stoxx 600 index lost 4.5% to 473.99 points, expressing a capitalization of 14,498 billion euros, below the 14,525 billion at the beginning of the year.
