Tajani Hails Success for Occhiuto and Forza Italia

Rome: Centre-right Forza Italia (FI) leader and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on Monday hailed the success of FI and centre-right incumbent Governor Roberto Occhiuto in holding Calabria saying that external factors such as the Gaza war and left-wing campaigns for Palestine had had no impact on the vote.

According to Ansa News Agency, Tajani emphasized that the electoral victory in Calabria was a clear indication of the confidence voters have in Forza Italia and Occhiuto’s leadership. The foreign minister highlighted that despite the ongoing international issues and domestic campaigns by opposition groups, the electorate’s focus remained on the regional governance and achievements made by the current administration.
