Stellantis Reports Significant Decline in 2024 Financial Performance
Milan: Stellantis announced a sharp decline in its 2024 financial results, with net revenues totaling 156.9 billion euros, marking a 17% decrease from the previous year. The company attributed the downturn to a 12% drop in consolidated shipment volumes, which it cited as resulting from temporary gaps in product offerings and completed inventory reduction initiatives.
According to Ansa News Agency, Stellantis reported a net profit of 5.5 billion euros for the year, representing a 70% decrease. The group’s adjusted operating income fell to 8.6 billion euros, down 64%, with an adjusted operating income margin of 5.5%.
The company also reported industrial free cash flows that were negative by 6 billion euros. This negative cash flow was attributed to the decline in income and a temporarily enlarged working capital impact due to production adjustments, as stated by Stellantis.
Looking ahead, Stellantis adjusted its financial estimates for 2025, forecasting positive net revenue growth, a mid-single digits adjusted operating income margin, and positive industrial free cash flows. These projections reflect the early stage of commercial recovery and ongoing industry uncertainties.
Additionally, Stellantis revealed plans to launch 10 new models, aiming to bolster its market position and address the challenges faced in the previous year.
