Stellantis Experiences Significant Decline in European Sales in June

Milan: Stellantis sold 180,907 vehicles on the European market (EU, EFTA, and UK) in June, marking a decrease of 12.3% compared to the same month last year, according to data released on Thursday. The Italian-French-American auto group experienced a reduction in its market share to 14.5% from 15.7% in June 2024.

According to Ansa News Agency, the European car manufacturers’ association ACEA noted that year-on-year sales decreased by 7.3% in the market overall last month. In the first six months of 2025, Stellantis sold 1,040,902 vehicles, representing a 9.1% decline compared to the first half of 2024. The group’s market share during the first half of 2025 was 15.3%, down from 16.7% for the January-June period of the previous year.

Stellantis, which includes brands such as Jeep, Peugeot, Fiat, Lancia, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, and Chrysler, reported a loss of 2.3 billion euros in the first half of 2025 after revenues fell by 12.6% to 74.3 billion, based on preliminary, unaudited data.
