Spanish Student Hit, Killed by an SUV in Naples
Naples: A 20-year-old Spanish woman is dead after being hit by an SUV driven by an 18-year-old man in central Naples in the early hours of Friday, sources said. The woman, a student who was in the southern Italian city on the Erasmus programme, was on a zebra crossing when she was run over, the sources said. Paramedics rushed to the scene but she died of her injuries shortly after arriving in hospital. The young driver was subjected to alcohol and drugs tests and the SUV, a Range Rover, has been impounded.
