Florence: Raffaele Palladino has quit as Fiorentina coach, but the club is trying to convince him to change his mind, sources said on Wednesday. The Florence club has made no official statement about the situation so far.

According to Ansa News Agency, on Tuesday, Chairman Rocco Commisso and other club executives held a press conference analyzing the season that has just ended and discussing their plans for next term with Palladino in charge of the team.

Fiorentina finished sixth in Serie A to qualify for the UEFA Conference League.
