Snowboard: Bormolini Wins World Cup

Krynica: Italy’s Maurizio Bormolini has clinched the snowboarding World Cup following his second-place finish in the parallel giant event held in Krynica on Sunday. This event marked the final challenge of the Polish stage and the concluding act of the season.

According to Ansa News Agency, Bormolini, hailing from Livigno, lost the final race to Austria’s Andreas Prommegger. Despite this, Bormolini’s earlier victory in securing the specialty cup allowed him to celebrate his success in the overall rankings as well.
