Seven Young People Rescued from Islet in Piave River

Treviso: Seven young people were rescued Monday after being trapped by surging rain-swollen waters on an islet in the northeastern Italian Piave River. This incident occurred near the location where an 18-year-old youth drowned on June 18.

According to Ansa News Agency, two helicopters were deployed to winch the youths to safety. The rescue services successfully completed the operation, ensuring all individuals were securely brought back to land.
