Serie A Set to Begin New Season on August 24

Rome: Serie A will kick off on August 24, the Lega announced Thursday. It confirmed that the next Serie A football championship will start on Sunday, August 24, and conclude on Sunday, May 24, 2026. The schedule will feature two midweek rounds occurring on October 29 and January 6, 2026. Additionally, there will be four breaks for national teams on September 7, October 12, November 16, and March 29, 2026.

According to Ansa News Agency, the Lega Serie A has also set the date for the 2024/2025 Coppa Italia final on May 13, 2026. The preliminary round of the Coppa Italia is scheduled for August 10, with the thirty-second round following on August 17. The round of 32 will occur on September 24.

The round of 16 is planned for December, on the 3rd and 17th, while the quarter-finals are scheduled for February 2026, on the 4th and 11th. The first leg of the semi-finals is set for March 4, with the return leg on April 22.
