Serena Autieri’s Concert in Bucharest Marks 2,500th Anniversary of Naples
Bucharest: In Bucharest, at the Luceafarul concert hall, a concert by Serena Autieri titled Voglio vivere cos¬ took place on 19 June. Organized by the Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute, the event was part of the celebrations for the 2,500th anniversary of the founding of Naples. The concert featured Autieri performing a repertoire of Neapolitan classics alongside Italian and international pop music.
According to Ansa News Agency, the Italian Ambassador in Bucharest, Alfredo Durante Mangoni, highlighted the significance of the event. He stated, “Naples is synonymous with talent and harmony, capable of interweaving different experiences, sensitivities, and languages through contamination with other worlds.” The ambassador emphasized that the concert, featuring the voice of Serena Autieri and a selection of Neapolitan, Italian, and international classics, celebrated the historic milestone of Naples’ foundation in Bucharest.
