Ambassador Tassoni Estense Visits New Humanity Centre in Yangon
Yangon: The Italian Ambassador to Myanmar, Nicolò Tassoni Estense, visited New Humanity’s recently opened ‘Golden Beehive’ child support centre in one of the most disadvantaged areas of Yangon. Ambassador Tassoni Estense emphasized the importance of New Humanity’s work in Myanmar, highlighting it as a model of cooperation and solidarity that reflects Italy’s values and serves as an inspiration to those aiding the Burmese population.
According to Ansa News Agency, New Humanity International plays a crucial role in supporting over 3,000 families in the outskirts of Yangon, where access to essential services like infrastructure, schools, and hospitals is severely limited. The organization’s efforts have become even more critical following the earthquake on March 28, 2025, which prompted them to assist more than 15,000 people in the past two months.
New Humanity International has been active in Myanmar since 2002, continually working to provide support to the communities in need.
