Ruggiero and Piccoli Secure Silver in Women’s Duet Free Artistic Swimming at World Championships

Singapore: Italy’s Lucrezia Ruggiero and Enrica Piccoli claimed the silver medal in the women’s duet free artistic swimming event at the world aquatics championships held in Singapore. The Italian duo impressed the judges, earning a score of 278.7137 points. Their performance was only surpassed by Spain’s Lilou Lluis Valette and Iris Thio Casas, who secured the gold with a score of 282.6087.

According to Ansa News Agency, this achievement marks Italy’s third medal in artistic swimming at the championships. Earlier, Lucrezia Ruggiero and Filippo Pelati had won a bronze medal in the mixed duet technical routine event. Filippo Pelati also achieved a bronze in the men’s solo free event, contributing to Italy’s successful run at the world aquatics championships.
