Robbers Attempt to Break Into Valentino’s Villa

Rome: Two robbers tried to break into Valentino’s Rome villa on Sunday while the 93-year-old fashion designer was at home, daily newspaper Il Messaggero reported on Tuesday. A security guard reportedly confronted the bandits when they entered the garden of the villa on the Appian Way and fired a gun in the air, causing them to flee.

According to Ansa News Agency, the incident occurred while Valentino was inside his residence. The attempted burglary has raised concerns about the security of high-profile residences in the area. The Appian Way, known for its historic significance, also houses several other luxury villas.
