Relatives Visit Graveyard to Find Graves Moved

Udine: Relatives who tried to visit their loved ones’ graves in Udine over the holidays complained Monday that they couldn’t find them because they had been moved to another cemetery. “They dug them up and transferred them,” said the three in local newspapers.

According to Ansa News Agency, the local council defended itself by stating that they had posted announcements of the transfers on specific websites for reasons of space. The council maintained that the announcements were made in advance to inform the public of the necessary relocations.
