Rome: Russian President Vladimir Putin should consider mediating to end the invasion of Ukraine, according to Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani. This statement was made after Tajani was questioned about US President Donald Trump’s proposal for Putin to mediate in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
According to Ansa News Agency, Tajani, who also holds the position of deputy premier, was asked about the credibility of Putin as a mediator in the Israel-Iran war. Tajani suggested that Putin’s efforts might be better directed at resolving the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
