Pope Leo XIV’s Literary Preferences and Personal Interests Revealed by Brother

Chicago: Pope Leo XIV has a penchant for John Grisham’s legal thrillers, his brother has disclosed in a recent interview. Speaking to NBC in Chicago, John Prevost shared insights into the Pope’s personal interests, revealing his fondness for both John Grisham books and Peeps candies. Prevost also mentioned that Pope Leo XIV misses driving, an activity he once enjoyed.

According to Ansa News Agency, Pope Leo, who is 69 years old, is keen on making stays at the papal summer residence of Castel Gandolfo a regular occurrence. This comes after the previous Pope, Francis, had closed the residence and converted it into a museum. John Prevost mentioned that the two popes shared a close bond and were great friends.

Leo XIV, formerly known as Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost, hails from Chicago and holds joint Peruvian citizenship. His connection to Peru stems from his extensive missionary work in the country.
