Pope Francis Shows Improvement, Non-Invasive Ventilation Halted

Rome: Pope Francis is showing signs of improvement as he continues his battle with pneumonia at a hospital in Rome, with the Vatican announcing that non-invasive ventilation has been suspended.

According to Ansa News Agency, the Vatican’s medical bulletin confirmed that the Pope’s clinical conditions are improving. The statement noted that the Holy Father has stopped using non-invasive mechanical ventilation and has also reduced his reliance on high-flow oxygen therapy. The Pope is reportedly making progress in both motor and respiratory physiotherapy.

In addition, the bulletin highlighted that on the morning of the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, Pope Francis was able to concelebrate the Holy Mass. This development is seen as a positive indication of his ongoing recovery.
