Rome: Over two hundred thousand people are anticipated to gather at St. Peter’s on Saturday morning for the funeral of Pope Francis. This estimate emerged during a meeting of the Committee for Public Order and Security, chaired by Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi, held at the prefecture in Rome on Tuesday.
According to Ansa News Agency, the arrival of at least one hundred foreign delegations is also expected. Most of the authorities are anticipated to reach Rome on Saturday and depart later that day. Additionally, US President Donald Trump is expected to arrive in the city on Friday.
