No One Gains in a Trade War Says Tajani

Rome: No one will gain from a trade war, Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani wrote on X Sunday. “The tariff war doesn’t benefit anyone – also because negotiations will need to take into account EU-US ties,” Tajani wrote.

According to Ansa News Agency, Tajani emphasized that Italy has both ideas and a strategy to safeguard its companies. He noted that Italy will act as the best EU ambassador in the dialogue with Washington.

Tajani’s comments come amid ongoing discussions about trade relations between the European Union and the United States, highlighting the importance of diplomatic negotiations over tariff disputes.
