New Crash of Europe Stocks Wipes Out 446 Billion Euros

Milan: The European stock markets suffered another significant crash amid ongoing turmoil related to Trump’s tariff policies. This downturn on Wednesday led to the loss of billions in market capitalization.

According to Ansa News Agency, the Stoxx 600 index plummeted by 3.5%, resulting in an additional 446 billion euros being wiped out from the markets. Milan’s Ftse Mib index also closed sharply lower at -2.75%, accounting for nearly 19 billion euros of the total losses.

The latest plunge followed a brief recovery on Tuesday, which had come after three consecutive days of declines since Trump’s tariff announcement last Wednesday. Investors remain concerned about the impact of these tariffs on the European economy, leading to ongoing volatility in the markets.
