NBH Commemorates 75th Anniversary of Hungarian-Chinese Financial Relations.
The National Bank of Hungary (NBH) has commemorated the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Hungary and the People’s Republic of China, celebrating the continuous development of financial relations between the two nations. Governor György Matolcsy highlighted the importance of this milestone, emphasizing the role Hungary plays in fostering cooperation between the West and East amid current geopolitical challenges.
According to About Hungary, the commemoration included the presentation of a special coin set issued by the NBH for the occasion and the release of a book titled “The 75th Anniversary of Hungarian-Chinese Financial Relations.” During the event, Ambassador Gong Tao expressed gratitude towards the NBH and Governor Matolcsy for their efforts in promoting bilateral relations. Over the past 75 years, Hungary and China have actively collaborated to elevate their relationship to new heights, reflecting on a shared commitment to further enhancing financial ties.
