Rome: Argentine President Javier Milei will come to Rome for Pope Francis’s funeral, sources said Monday. Milei will travel to Rome to bid farewell to Pope Francis, who died this morning in his residence at Casa Santa Marta, they said.
According to Ansa News Agency, the trip was confirmed by sources in the Casa Rosada. However, confirmation of the date of the Pope’s funeral is awaited to finalize the travel details. Cabinet chief Guillermo Francos mentioned that much of the president’s official agenda will be suspended in the coming days.
