Meloni to Address CPAC Conference via Video Link from Italy

Washington DC: Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni is scheduled to address the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington DC on Saturday afternoon, according to the agenda on the website of the “most influential gathering of conservatives in the world”.

According to Ansa News Agency, sources have indicated that Meloni will not physically attend the conference. Instead, her address is set to be delivered via video link. This arrangement aligns with the scheduled 15-minute slot allocated for her speech, which is positioned between the address of Tom Homan, known as United States President Donald Trump’s ‘border czar’, and the concluding speech by Elise Stefanik, whom Trump has nominated as the US ambassador to the UN.

Argentine President Javier Milei is also slated to speak at the conference on Saturday, making it a notable event with international participation. The CPAC conference continues to be a significant platform for conservative leaders to express their views and engage with a global audience.
