Meloni, Salvini, Tajani, Crosetto Set to Discuss Strategy for Ukraine Summit


Rome: A meeting has been scheduled on Wednesday at Premier Giorgia Meloni’s Palazzo Chigi office to define a common line ahead of the summit on “Ukraine’s peace and security” of the so-called ‘coalition of the willing’ scheduled Thursday in Paris to be attended by the Italian prime minister, government sources have confirmed.



According to Ansa News Agency, the meeting, scheduled at 11:30, will be attended by Meloni, the two deputy premiers, Antonio Tajani – via video link from Friuli Venezia Giulia – and Transport Minister Matteo Salvini, as well as Defence Minister Guido Crosetto and military and diplomatic officials.



The discussions aim to establish a unified stance before the upcoming international summit focused on addressing the ongoing situation in Ukraine. It signifies Italy’s commitment to contributing to global efforts for peace and security in the region.
